There's been a lot of love lately for Stardust 's lone hit single "Music Sounds Better With You" (see Giraffage's fantastic remix here ), and that continued last night. During The xx -led Night + Day concert in Berling, the band brought fellow Londoner Jessie Ware onstage to help them with a unique cover of the song. Ware's vocals add a touch of sensuality to The xx's atmospheric instrumentation. Let's hope a studio version hits the web soon. For now, you can watch the live version below. [...]

A few days ago, our favorite LA duo Classixx , Michael David and Tyler Blake, finally dropped their debut album "Hanging Gardens" and it's definitely worth the long wait! For us, this great album is a one-way ticket to sunny California and will certainly get some serious rotations on the road this summer. And if that’s not enough, Classixx just shared a non-LP track, called "Valley Vacation", a sun-kissed summery jam for your next road trip. As we read, this track is a "reference to their late-night escape from their old studio, [...]

You know it's going to be a pretty good day when word comes out that Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros have released their first official single off their forthcoming self-titled album, even if the folk crooner is singing about "Better Days". Because a few things are almost always certain when Mr. Ebert drops some new tunes, and that is you know the song will be laid back, easy to whistle along to and make you forget all your worries with each and every listen. Stream the new single below and look for the [...]

The troupe that is Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros has finally released another track title "Better Days," which will appear on the band's forthcoming self-titled third studio album out July 23rd. Better Days feels like an extension of their previous work, rattling percussions, boatloads of gang chorals, an uplifting tone, and almost gives a feeling of spirituality a warm and fuzzy kind of feeling, which seems to be their shtick. It's definitely a catchy tune that people are going to gobble up. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros 2013 Live [...]

For someone who has been such an influential figure in music history, it's surprising that Giorgio Moroder has never performed a live DJ set. Last night that changed. The 73-year-old musician, who recently appeared on Daft Punk's Random Access Memories , dished out a fantastic hour-long set at Brooklyn club Output. Put together by Red Bull Music Academy, the set saw Moroder remixing his own material. He even reworked his collaborative track with Daft Punk, "Giorgio by Moroder." Stream the full set below.

On Monday afternoon, all was well for Michael Trimmell, who was helping his buddy Luke move some things to his new home. That is, until the loquacious Okie spotted the infamous tornado trailing a few hundred yards behind on Interstate 44. But shaggy made the best of the situation by uploading vertical gold to the Internet in case YouTubers wanted an up-close, open mike experience of this week's horrendous twister. From the description on Michael's YouTube account : May 20th 2013 that son o bitch just snuck up on us,so we [...]

Random Access Memories , Daft Punk’s first non-soundtrack album in eight years, might be the biggest release of 2013 (not counting what Kanye might have in store). It’s also a humongous album, clocking in at over an hour and with several tracks breaching six minutes in length. This is a production that sounds like it broke the bank, but it a sincere enough musical send up to feel intimate and crafted. Random Access Memories is not Daft Punk's strongest songwriting effort (that honor may always belong to Discovery ), nor does it represent a progressive leap from what the [...]
