Le groupe Soulwax annule des dates de concerts afin de finir son nouvel album

Le 22 mai dernier, le groupe Soulwax a annoncé sur sa page Facebook qu'ils allaient réduire leur présence en festival cet été afin de finaliser le nouvel album. La Secret Garden Party et le festival Sonar sont touchés par ces annulations, mais David et Stephen Dewaele seront quand même présents aux deux événements en tant que 2manydjs. Depuis, beaucoup de morceaux ont été produits, très différents d'après leurs dires et le duo ne sait pas encore si ces morceaux feront partie d'un nouveau projet ou d'un nouvel album de Soulwax. C'est vraiment très différent de ce que nous avons fait dans le passé. Ça pourrait être la naissance d'un nouveau side-project, mais je pense que ces nouveaux morceaux feront partie du nouvel album [...]

David and Stephen Dewaele (aka The Flying Dewaele Brothers aka 2manydjs aka Soulwax) made the ultimate tribute to their biggest music hero--David Bowie. The brothers worked on an hour long mix with “all things Bowie, whether that is original songs, covers, backing vocals, production work or reworks” and called their friend and director Wim Reygaert to visualise their mix and David Bowie’s spectacular career. Wim Reygaert had also directed Radio Soulwax’s film “Into the Vortex” before.
