![Taco Bell Cares About Helping Bands' Bottom Lines, Widening Bottoms [Eat Me]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/1293064_lg.jpg)
What does music taste like to you? A quarter pound of ground beef covered in melted cheese and spicy sauce wrapped in a stale tortilla and dubious marketing ideas? You're in luck! Taco Bell has begun the latest installment of its Feed the Beat program, which gives $500 in free food to 100 bands (many of which are made up of white dudes with ugly haircuts) from all across the country. In what may be a diabolical and awesome scheme to fatten up the country's screamo scene, Taco Bell is asking the musicians to spend their money on [...]

After a summer that saw the Pennsylvania outfit offers its electro-heavy sounds to Lollapalooza and U.K.'s Wireless Festival , Innerpartysystem will look to cap off the year with the release of its debut, self-titled studio album next week (September 30). In anticipation of the release, the four-piece band is currently streaming the album, complete with behind the scenes commentary, via Imeem . But compare that to Innerpartysystem's calender and everything else seems to pale in comparision. Beginning next week, the group will embark on a four-month, worldwide tour. Dates include stops with [...]

Usually nothing screams gangsta like two white, becostumed , hipster, suburbanites, but Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte are just about as hard-core as it gets. Their synchronized dance moves whip crowds into frenzies, their low-budget videos are a web-sensation, their brash lyrics make the girls' panties drop ( Shush girl, shut your lips. Do the Helen Keller and talk with your hips ), but it's all in a days work for the boys as the represent their beloved 303 . 3OH!3's musical stylings are as hard to define [...]
3OH!3 joins the small league of bands with exclamation points in their names. They are featured along with other acts such as Low vs. Diamond and Ra Ra Riot on this week's Rolling Stones Artists to Watch list . Their music is kind of buckwild (the video above is slightly NSFW) and a few of their lines (especially in the song Don't Trust Me, below) made me laugh. Bandmates Nathan Motte and Sean Foreman graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado so I think most of it is done tongue in cheek. You can just look at them [...]

I wish I hadn't done as much research for this post as I ended up doing. Because until about an hour ago I was developing into a big 3oh!3 fan. One of the guys is an ultimate player - a good one too. Like Zack Dorner good. Like friends with Smelly Nate Raines good. Forrest Hanson '06, a hipster if I've ever met one, likes them. All signs point to yes. And so I check out Don't Trust Me. 3oh!3 - Don't Trust Me It's pretty damn good. [...]
For me, summer is the ultimate in shows. Since our school is located in an area that is not an ideal tour stop, I usually can only catch the bands that tour while I'm in Boston for the summer. Now that summer is (sadly) coming to a close, I thought I'd give a recap of the few shows I managed to make it out to over this lovely break. First off, I have to admit that I was forced to be the chaperone of my little sister's first Warped Tour experience at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, [...]
![Numbers, Letters, Exclamation Points, "Real World" Alums, And The Countercultural Reclamation Of Ike [Next Little Things]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/1170479_lg.jpg)
Each week, dozens of songs and albums from up-and-coming (or just plain unknown) bands debut on the world's music charts. Some of these bands will never be heard from again; some may become the next little thing. That's why we have Chuck Eddy exploring the world beyond the Billboard 200, where he'll look for diamonds in the MySpace rough. This week out, he tackles new R & B, a few rock bands whose names seem like word jumbles, someone from the most recent season of The Real World , and a singer who dreams of winning [...]
Yoo so Kid Cudi is having his release party in NYC tonight. My dudes at 10 Deep sent me an email about it, and I wish I could be there. Check out the track "Man on the Moon" it's produced by Nosaj Thing one of the most creative dudes I know. I'm in cleveland right now, i don't even know where I am tomorrow but I know we're in Toronto in 2 days. I <3 CANADA. Also today me and 3OH!3 had an amazing dance party in the myspace tent. [...]

So today is my birthday, and in light of it I wanted to throw up a mix of music. I am a massive 25 years old. Many of the songs on this mix are influenced by the word "Party", and others just appealed to me at 8 in the morning. I hope you enjoy the mix, and much love to you all, the readers of TYS. Wish we could all have a party at my house. (PS. And have some cake!) 3OH!3 - I'm Not Coming to your Party Girl [...]
If you look at 3Oh!3's album page on iTunes , you'll notice that listeners also bought Timbaland, Ed Banger Records Volume 1 and the Vengaboys. That about sums it up right there. "I'm Not Coming To Your Party Girl" sounds like everything popular mixed with everything trendy mixed with a little irreverence mixed in for good. Straight outta Boulder, Colorado (say whaaaaat), it looks like 3Oh!3 has been tearing up the scene there. The kids go wild for this shit... 3Oh!3 - "I'm Not Coming To Your Party Girl" [...]
