Tele Noir is a new synth and guitar-driven dance pop project from A Fight to the Death frontman, CJ Bargamian. Musically it's more glossy and ebullient than AFTTD's smoky rock and eclectic gypsy soul, but fans of the veteran Atlanta group should find plenty to like in Bargamian's infectious, hook-heavy vocals, if not his thumping basslines and uptempo beats. Those looking for a followup to the cool nocturnal rumblings that made their first single "Paper Airplanes" such a treat, may, however, be disappointed. The first single from A Fight to the Death's upcoming EP, Keep Warm , is a smoky, late night slow churner that feels dark, mysterious and suave all at the same time.
