It's not news that I may have a passing fancy for Alison Sudol , so I went into the listening process with high hopes. And let me tell you, the love affair must be over, because when it comes to sophomore albums by unabashedly pop artists, A Fine Frenzy lives up to the stereotype of overdoing it and making it suck. I blame it on the fact that she threw off pensive ballads and piano tracks for upbeat, dancy tracks that sound like they were written by someone who's good at, well... pensive ballads [...]
