This edition of the Graboid is all about the unknown, as I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't heard about many of these releases (I haven't, at least). From their Meal Deal Records blog , Alex of A Grave With No Name has just given word of their digital EP, Saskia/You're Gone. There are shades of their more ambient/atmospheric sides on their upcoming LP with Lefse but there are some 'heavier' aspects peppered in as well. I really hate recycling the "distant yet familiar" oxymoron descriptor. Not that I've never used it before, but I think I've finally found the perfect application for the term. As the name implies, you can rest assured that A Grave With No Name spares no mysteries. Almost every track on Mountain Debris appears to swim underwater and isn't concerned with peaking for a breath. Meth Teeth are based out of Portland and there sure doesn't seem to be a hell of a lot written about them. From what I've gathered they began as the one-man folk project of Mattey Hubele and Kyle Raquipiso later joined the band. So, a two man band I guess and they sure as hell can make quite a bit of noise. 2009 sees the band release their first full length Everything Went Wrong .
