Sadly during the week the music world lost Kate McGarrigle RIP. I've been a big fan of Rufus and later Martha. When I went back to Loudon Wainwright III and Kate's music it was no surprise that the siblings were destined to make magical music. Van Cleef are a Dublin four piece who deserve kudos for listing BMX Bandits and Terace Trent D'arby amongst their influences on their MySpace. A House was one of Ireland's greatest bands of the 1990's and their cd's are still an aurel pleasure in this household.
