wow, ten years. a thousand young was an all star metallic hardcore band of anchorage bred portland transplants back in the days before mustaches and fucking fixies. portland was cheap rent and cheap beer and cheap food and no winter and good shows every night, or so it seemed to those of us still scraping together enough money to pay the security guard for a rec center show back in alaska. you can still hear the band finding their legs a bit, and i always wished this band had put out another ep or a proper full length. alas, here [...]
