AC Berkheimer is a Rotterdam [Netherlands] based quartet formed in mid 2005. They just released their second full-length album 'We Tell Them Tonight', after receiving international praise for their first album 'In a Series of Long Days' [including on The Daily Dose here ]. A week spent away from the blog, winterizing our our little nest, but it now seems possible that we only needed visit our friends at Groningen, Netherlands label Subroutine Records once again for a fix of warmth and energy to surround us. AC Berkheimer is a Rotterdam [Netherlands] based quartet formed in mid 2005, who combines fierce guitar riffs with dark and dreamy vocals. A sound that can also be described as a wall of melancholy if you wish. In April 2006 the band released a 4-track demo and started performing live. They played Vera, Bitterzoet, Waterfront, 't Paard, Rotown and were invited to perform at The Music In My Head festival and the ZXZW festival.
