No nostalgia zone. People expect to see freaks. Damn. Downside on this lack of updates is that I end up with massive posts like these. So take a seat and get ready for a few hours of bass... Starting today's session with my Italian loverboy V@LeRiC . He did a lovely edit on the still amazing "19993 from Cassius. I'm pretty sure his girls will go wild on this one... With releases featuring Tommie Sunshine and Harvard Bass already on the shelves and studio tweets mentioning Felix Cartal and Tai , you can now add AC Slater and Drop the Lime to that list. Last week he dropped The Bass EP on his label Secure Recordings and on it two different tracks with two different copilots manning the banger stick. The AC Slater choke up Cry Baby [...]

Bart B More, Drop the Lime, and AC Slater team up to bring you a bass heavy, 2 track EP. Leave your earbuds at the door because these two tracks need to be listened to on a serious system. Both songs have Bart's signature, gritty synth bass lines - the kind that hit hard enough that you can feel your ribcage rattle. Drop the Lime adds his own spirited groove to the title track on the EP and it shows. The vocals here are also incredibly addicting, this one is going to get some serious time on the decks of [...]

I could only go so long without paying mad respects to my favorite artist/dj/producer ever.PERIOD. I know that's a huge claim, but AC Slater changed the way I looked and listened to music. The dude is a beast when it comes to longevity in the industry. He first blew up in the NYC rave scene in the early 20002s making his name as a happy hardcore producer (gross as fuck). He went on to launch a successful hardcore label called Pitched Up Records, at the time one of the only labels putting out happy [...]

Had a great weekend of DJing. Gigantic was fun on the Friday, and then on the Saturday evening I played a set in the dance tent of T anglewood Festival , and then Lavery's Ballroom later that night was great craic. This was the first year that Tanglewood Festival has taken place, and it seemed like it went pretty well. Located in Warrenpoint, it had a ton of local bands playing on two stages plus a comedy tent and a dance tent as well. I was playing at 7.30pm, and the tent was opened [...]

Back to back weeks with a prescription refill... don't remember the last time I did that. The next couple days or so are going to be quite hectic and just in case vitamin dispensing slows down I want everyone to be stocked up. Also, I know people are quite fed up with the music player because it won't let you seek through the song... I haven't been ignoring your cries. I've just been working on a completely new integrated music player and let me tell you that it does more than just fix that issue. Once we finish [...]
