Last post held a remix of The Rapture 's "How Deep Is Your Love?", one of the most remixed tracks during 2011. But now we also got our ears on a brand new remix of another Rapture track "Sail Away". This remix is remixed by all time favourites Aeroplane , even if it's only Vito left from the old magic duo and it doesn't sound like a typical Aeroplane remix, it's a great remix. French producer Breakbot is one of few disco producers that has made me seriously consider buying roller skates. This guy is like the King Midas of disco - but instead of gold, everything he touches becomes infectiously funky and danceable. I challenge anyone to play a Breakbot (or Aeroplane for that matter) track and not dance around even a litte bit. Ahhhh, the remix category. Generally, people are polarized by this genre of music, loving or hating remixes with a furious passion. When pondering the more philosophical side of this category, a parallel (strange, and possibly dorky) thought continually crept into the forefront of my mind: the fluffernutter sandwich. A twist on the original peanut butter and jelly classic, the fluffernutter is peanut butter and marshmallow fluff - unexpected yet slightly familiar, delicious to fans and potentially unappealing to zealots of tradition.
