An odd couple for sure, but the pairing of Aesop Rock and Kimya Dawson works in its own strange way, like a garden gnome or a bonsai tree. Kimya incorporates the deadpan quirkiness that she brought to The Moldy Peaches, and Aesop tones down his tangled web of flows to meet the acoustic guitar halfway. Well this is a nice surprise. We've got a new track and video from Aesop Rock and Kimya Dawson entitled "Earthquake". The two have released music previously as The Uncluded , but this appears to be credited to solely Aesop. Regardless, Kimya Dawson's unique voice remains a perfect complement to Aesop's signature head-spinning delivery. The track also got a much welcomed light-hearted video which you can check out below. Fingers crossed that more music from these two comes sooner than later.

Aesop Rock is a rap-game road warrior, announcing additional dates for this spring. Rob Sonic and DJ Big Wiz will join Aesop on stage and Busdriver will provide direct support for the Mid-West and West Coast shows. This announcement comes after Aesop Rock was forced to postpone his previous West Coast tour due to a broken rib. That run of shows is rescheduled below.
