I've finally got round to giving the AFCGT 10" record a decent listen. Have to say, I don't quite have the unreserved love for it as I did with their self-title original. First time around I loved all of the retro elements - taking some corny old pieces of musical history and re-imagining them full of dissonance and feedback. 10" is rather more straightforward in that respect - it's good but not spectacular.
