Vor zwei Jahren hat es auf 78s geheissen: "Aie ça gicle-Gate" . Die Basler Band hat eine "Next-Big-Thing-Debatte ausgelöst und damit gehörig Staub aufgewirbelt. Nun steht ihr Debüt-Album in den Startlöchern. Und hey was soll ich sagen: Wir haben hier die "Schweizer Rock-Kronjuwelen" für euch. Vor zwei Jahren haben Aie ça gicle mit einer wunderschönen zwischen Eingängigkeit und Noise oszillierenden EP für viel Aufmerksamkeit in Indie-Kreisen gesorgt. Nun kommt das Debüt-Album "S.Y.R.U.P." und das ist alles andere als Kindergeburtstag, es ist ein musikalischer Husarenritt. [...]

Heute Abend gibts an der Langstrasse in Zürich gleich zwei besondere Live-Leckerbissen. Wenn es Tickets gäbe, wir würden sie verlosen. "Too many crazies talk to me" singt die zierliche Tonia Reeh (Bild links, EX Sängerin und Gitarristin bei Masonne / EX Das Zuckende Vakuum) und dieses Stimmengewirr setzt sie gekonnt in mal sperrigen, mal melodiösen Electro-Punk um. Ihr Album "Love Your Neighbour! No, thanks" haben wir hier abgefeiert.
