Finally, I'm all caught up on life right now. So what does that mean? It means I get to tend to your ears and share this amazing music I've recently found. It's nothing heavy and I doubt you can not like these songs even if you tried. I generally download 20-30 songs on the daily and sift through the good and the bad. Through thick and thin and from horrible to great, here is the great. A little taste of what's been grabbing my attention. Enjoy! [See post to stream audio] The Empires - Howl (Gods [...]

Of all the artists I've ever heard in my entire life, Air France is the one and only that puts me on a permanent mental vacation at a beach party somewhere. And I'm sure that's one of their main selling points, which is why I was surprised to hear their new remix of UK dance-rockers Friendly Fires. The track actually works out incredibly well though and definitely comes out sounding like more of an Air France track than a Friendly Fires track. "Skeleton Boy" is one of my favorite tracks from the Friendly Fires album though and I'm excited to [...]

Okay, so this was kind of a big deal for us, considering that we've been thinking about being around models for, well, we mean, forever and stuff, so when we got a call to come by Highbar in Midtown for a special afterparty celebrating all of the work that the kids from DNA Models have been into this week, we immediately were like, "yes!!" Wouldn't you? But we'll take a rest from sounding too douchey to say that we were totally stoked about more fashion week events as we've been taking it easy with being sick [...]

Air France 's sample heavy sound has really won me over lately. I'm continuously amazed by the amount of ambiance in tracks like Collapsing At Your Doorstep and June Evenings , where every single sample adds to the feel and atmosphere. Friendly Fires ' dancerock seems a bit unlikely as a choice of song for Air France to remix, but the result is surprisingly fitting. The Air France remix of Skeleton Boy sounds like something that could easily fit on their self titled EP with a sound that also [...]
If dreamy pop soundscapes and sample heavy productions are to your liking, then chances are Sweden's Air France may be your thing. I told you there was something in Stockholm's water supply. Air France-Collapsing at your doorstep Air France - June Evenings Share/Save

Tilt-shift miniature faking is a photography technique that manipulates life-size locations or objects to resemble a miniature scale model. By using a special lens, high angle, large aperture and distorted focus to simulate a shallow depth of field, the scene seems much smaller than it actually is. Combining these techniques with thousands of time-lapse photos, as Sydney photographer Keith Loutit has done, creates incredibly powerful videos. Combining clips from several of these videos with Air France's "Beach Party" (below), creates a video worthy of the song. [...]

Seems I'm a lucky boy this month...so many great albums to review. The latest to hit my doormat is by Air France . The album has already gone down a storm stateside. So, who are these guys? Originating from two cities north of Stockholm, Air France met at high school. Joel and Henrik both held Socialist ideals and published a school paper that they distributed at the underground clubs of Stockholm. After graduation, they moved to Gothenburg and initiated the New Exotica [...]
This is a beautiful video for an equally beautiful song. Air France never fail to deliver. Anyone else ever check out their first EP On Trade Winds ? Its fantastic.
sweden's air france have a penchant for eliciting a swell of emotion with very few words. although that emotion is usually joy, it is only natural that the greatest joys are most appreciated for the often-difficult journey that leads us to them. the video for "no excuses", directed by marcus soderlund, is a metaphor for this journey, for anything that is truly worth the effort to attain it. it is a metaphor for life. the surfer--alone, cold, and missing wave after wave--perseveres, getting back up after each and every failure. he jumps on each wave with courage, with purpose, with [...]
Click here to view the embedded video. May not look beautiful on front page, check out the post for a proper version Air France's No Way Down EP has been growing on me lately, and with the release of the video for No Excuses their image as a dreamy electropop band is made clear once again. Very ambient video by Marcus Söderlund, fits the track beautifully! Air France - June Evenings (alt)
The video for one of the best songs of last year. Truly 100% perfect. Awesome
Off their "No Way Down" record, this is the third video release from Air France . Directed by Marcus Söderlund , this video just brings joy to our depressive winter weather. Enjoy one of the best tracks I've heard in a while, "No Excuses" and the video to match the name: DOWNLOAD: Air France - No Excuses (zShare) SUPPORT: Myspace Love
