I talked this show up a bit last week after catching the series premiere. And all ridiculous high school drama aside these cats do play some good music. Or rather good music is played over their heads as they look forlornly off camera with that unfocused gaze that says more than a nine hour narration ever could. The track in this video is a great remix I just found by following a link from my site logs. The first link I clicked lead to the video above, which is a remixed version of Ghetto, featuring two Dutch artists, Ali B & Yes-R. Apparently, in 2005, Akon released a special platinum version of his album Trouble. It was a 2cd disc that featured on the second disc, a host of remixes and unreleased tracks. Akon, originally from Senegal, also released a slightly different Dutch version of this special 2cd set . [...]
