Experimental folk rockers Akron/Family will kick off the New Year with another round of U.S. tour dates behind their most recent LP, Akron/Family II: The Cosmic Birth and Journey of Shinju TNT . The three-week trek launches in Washington, DC on January 6th and wraps up in Philadelphia three weeks later on January 20th. Joining the band in a supporting role will be Denver, CO's Bad Weather California, who is the first signee to Akron/Family's new label, Family Tree Music. The label will release Bad Weather California's album Sunkissed in early 2012. [...]
