Dave Grohl' s companion soundtrack to his critically-acclaimed documentary  Sound City is now streaming at NPR . The album officially hits stores March 12th via Grohl’s own Roswell Records. The album picks up where the film left off, featuring collaborations with many of the artists who recorded at the Sound City Studios. Centred around the legendary Sound City Studio, the band brings together loads of the artists featured in the wonderful feature-length documentary written and directed by Grohl. Dave Grohl has got some of the coolest friends in the world. How do I know? Because they're all in his new documentary. Last night Chris Cornell appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform one of his many solo tracks. Choosing to play Machine Gun Preacher soundtrack donation "The Creeper" you can watch his performance at the top in which he's assisted by the incredibly talented hands of Alain Johannes , who you may recognise from QOTSA or his solo work. Either way the duo of acoustic guitars bounce of one another delivering a solid that can be enjoyed at the top via The Audio Perv .
