We've kinda' not been paying too much attention to Alex Metric 's forthcoming new EP, mainly because we weren't that impressed with the EP's lead track 'Rave Weapon', which isn't really bad, just a bit predictable and disappointing. Thankfully the other two tracks on the EP more than make up for that, in a seriously awesome kinda' way. Killin' crowds over with major rapid fire intensity; instant clobber-clout and un-tearful direct approach, screams of "Banger-Banger-Banger" & "Tune-Tune-Tune" can't help but surface that one more time. As 'Anybody Else' and 'Epichords' are really ruling the roost here, 'Rave Weapon' follows in suit with a cheeky little Alexander O'Neal sample drum looping to heaven-belter's-end. Well after giving the album a full listen I am ready to post this for you guys and let you know that it didn't really knock it out of the park like their previous album. But I will say that it's a different style than their previous album, but I like it, at times it can get a bit strange, especially if you watch the visuals.
