Sweden's Alice In Videoland easily rank as one of my all time favourite bands, describing them isn't easy as no-one is doing anything quite like them. A lot of bands use the term Electro-Punk, but it seems to mean something different to each if them. Alice in Videoland , in Skandinavien schon seit Jahren bekannte Newcomer, sind hierzulande trotz verstärkten Radioeinsatzes beim Radio meines Vertrauens doch noch recht unbekannt. Was wohl auch an mangelnder Livepräsenz und der Tatsache, dass es ihr 2003 erschienenes Debütalbum lange Zeit nur als Import zu kaufen gab, liegen dürfte. Das Re-Release des Albums "Maiden Voyage" erscheint nun beim kanadischen Label Artoffact Records und ist nach Aussage des Labels erneut nicht für den deutschen Markt vorgesehen.
