Where have the last 72 hours gone? I'll tell you where... into an abyss which is specially reserved for people who choose to get on a plane and fly 24-odd hours from London to New Zealand, that's where. But now that the newly relocated AGOMWAB is back up and running (well, limping at least... damn you jet lag), let's get back into the swing of things with a wee gem of an interview with Aloe Blacc. Christopher Tubbs of the excellent Heads Down and the All Saints Basement Sessions recently [...]

Welcome to the Panic Manual, where one post about hip hop star du jour Taio Cruz leads to one about reality show band N-Dubz which ultimately leads to a post about the king of UK pop - Robbie Williams . Are we an indie blog or an English teen beat? You decide. This post came because I saw the previous post's song title and thought it was a cover of the Robbie Williams song of the same name. Then I thought about how weird it was that his song had such a dynamic [...]
Jazz artist Jose James drops his new single Trouble, after debuting it in the AllSaints Session I dropped a few weeks back. Just love this dude, voice is smooth as anything. Cop it on iTunes here.... [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links, other content, and more! ]]

happy 36th bgay to the SHAZNAY LEWIS. 25% of the ALL SAINTS was born this way October 14 1975. wotyougot

After my way too passionate audio-affair with All Saints when i was an 11 year old, I kinda knew there was something brighter and better out there, something that didn't include the extended dance edition of 'Never Ever'. If it was 2011 That thing would have been Google images, which would have extended my interest levels for as long as picturingthe Appleton twins macking out lasts.... But nah, i found a name for the music that always made my pre-pollution heart beat a bit faster, the guy in Leamington Spa Fopp told me to listen to 'Battle' by [...]

It's a well-documented fact that British pop songstress CocknBullKid enjoys covering songs . During her live session on Radio 2 with Jo Whiley, the self-proclaimed All Saints fan chose to pay her tribute by contributing her own version of "Pure Shores" to the station's ongoing Great British Songbook project. And what a brilliant choice/sublime rendition it was! She totally breathed new life into the track. This is bringing back all the memories, bar the unpleasant reminder of how unbelievably shit the original music video was. That unfortunate setback couldn't [...]

CLICK IMAGE TO VIEW VIDEO INTERVIEW I must confess to being both an AllSaints (literally wearing an AllSaints necklace and AllSaints Lakers High Tops while writing this) and Jose James nut so what is this, AllSaints invites Jose James to jam? Real lengthy interview and 3 tracks that he performed (I'll link em below). Trouble and It's All Over are two new tracks, I assume off his new album which is close to completion I think, and the third is a cover of Park Bench People by Myka 9. The dude's worked with both [...]
All Saints - 'Bootie Call'

They used to say that an intellectual was someone who could hear Rossini's William Tell Overture and not think of The Lone Ranger . I only mention this as I've just come back from a holiday and finally got around to reading The Beach by Alex Garland (only 14 years after everyone else). And for some reason I couldn't read a paragraph without thinking of Pure Shores by All Saints. Consequently I've had the tune in my head for the last 3 weeks. [...]
You know him from his mashup-project Norwegian Recycling, which he kills (one of the best "mashers" out their in my opinion). So to dig deeper, Blue Bubbles was born, in between making mashups. Check out his first remix, HERE, and leave comments below about how you like his new mashup project! While it's hard to [...]

Digitalism : Official | Facebook | Twitter Digitalism channels their inner Dr. Who + Sci Fi + Star Wars for their official video of 2 Hearts. Some of you who grew up during the 90s may be reminded of the Cross Fire commercials when watching the video. Regardless of where they drew inspiration for the video's theme, the album is definitely worth your time. Be sure to grab a copy of I Love You Dude @ [ iTunes | Amazon | Beatport ] If [...]

More importantly, they've recorded a blissed out cover of the classic All Saints track, 'Pure Shores'. Pick up the EP for free and download the cover below. Back in October, they only had one track available to listen [...]

happy happy bgay to the NATALIE APPLETON , the ALL SAINTS' ex-she-popper was born this way May 14 1973. wotyougot

So unfortunately we're having a few technical issues with the forthcoming CitR & Youth Music Covers Compilation release, which was scheduled to be made available for free download later tonight. However these are being worked on as we speak, and the release will be with you as soon as possible! In the meantime, as a form of apology for the delay, here's a fantastic video that Patterns put together for their cover version of Pure Shores, originally by All Saints. It's a brilliant take on the 2000 hit, and a brilliant teaser for the full release, as mentioned previously, if [...]

Production whizz Mark Pritchard is well known for his ability to turn his hand to a variety of different musical styles. A look through his discography proves as much - although chances are you might not know that it's Pritchard who's manning the boards on many of his records, thanks to the wide range of aliases he records under . Now, the man behind Harmonic 33, Harmonic 313, and Troubleman - to name just a few of his alter-egos... at this rate, Kool Keith's status of alias king might [...]
Sounding absolutely gorgeous, Warpaint performed this at the Spitalfields branch of All Saints in East London. This video just made my Wednesday that much better.

Warpaint were one of our favourite discoveries of last year so we're thrilled to share this short interview of the girls with you...and a free remix below for download. After Coachella, the girls are back over in the UK on the festival circuit before heading out on a countrywi... Read more..
