All The Damn Kids From: Sheffield, Midlands, United Kingdom All The Damn Kids'sound isn't revolutionary, it's not novel, it's not trendy, it's not cool, it's not the next undiscovered musical genre. There are no additives, no preservatives, none of your e-numbers or oddly named chemicals here it's just honest to goodness, uncomplicated indie pop music like your mummy used to make and I like it. It really is as simple as that. So deal with it. Go Try [...]

they're baaaaaaaaaaack. 19 yo me is super psyched! remember that shitty "our love to admire" record? well, "barricade" is prob better than anything on that, save maybe "the lighthouse", but how much is that saying? you decide! [Download] Interpol - Barricade pre-order the new s/t lp straight outta sheffield, uk. it's all the damn kids. and with "come away for the weekend" the kids bring all the damn jams. also check the vid for [...]

Sheffield, UK indie band All the Damn Kids that I wrote about earlier this year here are getting ready to release a new single "Echoes" in late August . The track is pretty smoking and keeps my interest high in hearing more from these up and comers. They have been kind enough to let us post the track almost a full month and a half before it's even released! Score! In addition here is their official video for the track. Enjoy! [...]

With the 4th of July already here, its scares me to say 2010 is half way done. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was desperately waiting to hear Contra. That feels like so long ago now. Just goes to show you just how much music is out there now. These are the 50 songs I've been giving warm love to all year. My hope is that you will find a few new songs that you will treasure. Or maybe you will re-consider a song that you passed over before. Either way, this is my list [...]
All The Damn Kids are easily my favorite up and coming british bands. The Sheffield native band (Home of the Arctics!) just released an official music video for their excellent track "Echoes", which I posted below: I like how you see the band, but never really get a good look at 'em. Certainly fits the vibe of the song. The version in the video sounds different than the one I shared with you a while back. It sounds like they worked on it some more, and I gotta say the end [...]
"It's not just, it's not just falling in love", this was instant love. This is the first song that plays on t heir myspace page . After a day of constantly listening to new music All the Damn Kids struck me the most. I have no idea why, but maybe it was just the uncomplicated indie pop that grabbed me. I dislike genres as much as the next person, but I think that because this is a perfect definition of an indie-pop group is why it works so well. They aren't trying to be experimental, or fuse six [...]

Here we go, a mixtape of some of my favourite artists and songs of 2010 so far. Posting has been rather sporadic on here as per usual, but I think we have more than made up for that with this (and the other two that are in the works). We've got summery indie pop all the way through to some thundering and swaggering rock and roll - but I can't try and take all the credit for finding these - at least a couple were spotted by the fine folks over at The 405 - so hat tip [...]

I called All The Damn Kids a band to watch last week, and I firmly stand behind that statement. They are an exciting band from Sheffield who you should expect to hear more on frm me in the immediate future. For now, check out their music video for "The Book Stops Here". It is pretty much a nod to the legendary Albert Lamorisse short film Le Ballon Rouge . It is well shot, and the video certainly fits the mood of the song. Watch it below: [...]
Lee from Knox Road recommended a band to me a few weeks back, and I finally remembered to give them a listen. He figured I would enjoy a young band from Sheffield called All The Damn Kids . The reason he is most likely because Sheffield is also the home of Arctic Monkeys, my favorite band (like you didn't know that already!). He shared the bands debut single "The Books Stop Here" with me. It is coming out as a single with the b-side "Like Seeing A Fox In Daylight" in May. The band was [...]

Nah, not really a post on kids books. 'All My Friends isn't changing to a kids book blog. All The Damn Kids make this really kind of uplifting indie pop. Remind me of Shout Out Louds, especially with the girl vocals. They also have that 'perfect-pop' sound. Catchy as hell chord progression purely designed to stay in your head and niggle away at your brain. The guys jave been around for close to two years and have done the UK tour thing since then. They just supported Mystery Jets too, so things must [...]
Si chiamano All The Damn Kids, vengono da Sheffield ed esordiranno il prossimo 26 aprile con un singolo intitolato "The Books Stop Here", una hit indie pop fatta e finita che potrebbe invadere la blogosfera e diventare il tormentone di questa primavera. "We don't know where we are going, but it's ok" cantano i cinque ragazzi [...]
Wow. I can't believe it has taken me this long to find the five-member Sheffield (UK) based indie-pop band, All The Damn Kids, and post their debut single "The Books Stop Here". (Actually, I can believe it as I've been out of town away from any sort of competent internet outside my cell phone, but dramatic effect works wonders, right? On that note, glad to be back and at 'em with you guys! Thanks to Jon for keeping Knox Road in action while Jamie and I have been out of it.) Anyway, back to the "wow" factor. "The [...]
Scarier than Pandora's Box...with deeper and darker secrets than Suge Knight's safe deposit box and a stench to rival Jeffrey Dahmer's fridge...it's the JTTS Inbox. Contrary to popular belief, we occasionally do troll through the mountains of sex solicitations, Nigerian Lottery winning tickets, threats from rappers and generally desperate people in their last throes of dignity. By account of my falling down in the viciously competitive pecking order of bloggers here at JTTS, the honor of the scouring the mail bag has fallen to yours truly. Today's first entry: Arkansas Bo- The [...]

All the Damn Kids are an indie pop band from Sheffield, UK. Recently they sent us their upcoming debut single 'The Books Stop Here' which is being released April the 5th and it is amazing! Breezy indie pop that can't help but put you in a good mood. Great melodies and the lead singers voice is beautiful! They sent us the track to share with our readers so with no further ado check it out... Here is also a short breezy video I [...]
