Gearing up for summer, AM Taxi is pumped to announce that their Virgin Records debut is now available exclusively on iTunes . As part of iTunes' 'Next Big Thing' , the digital release comes three weeks before We Don't Stand A Chance hits stores on June 8th followed by coast-to-coast dates through the summer via Warped Tour , making the Chicago-based band one of few to be invited on the nation-wide run prior to releasing an album. Most of this modern-day pop-punk, Warped Tour stuff doesn't do much for me but AM Taxi stands out amongst the crowd. While a band like The Gaslight Anthem has taken Springsteen's sound and molded it into something entirely new, AM Taxi draws influence from Midwest bands like The Replacements and infuses it with a Clash-style punk rock rhythm.
