As if it wasn't enough that Ameriie changed the spelling of her name to reinvent her image with an annoying double "i," which only works if your last name is Minogue. But, Ameriie is further jumping the shark by naming her new alvym Cymatika . Cymatics is the study of visual sound. Beautiful concept, but not when it sounds like something came out of the crypt. One of my favorite tracks from the past few months has been the remix Gang Colours did for Lucky Paul (drummer for Chilly Gonzalez). Who is Gang Colours and who is Lucky Paul you're wondering? The easy explanation is they are both artists doing a sort of poppy experimental electronic music in the vain of Mount Kimbie or some other P4k approved "post-dubstep" artist.
