So, this album is currently breaking my heart. But not in a good way, not in the way that it was supposed to. Simply put, Honey From The Tombs is lame. It’s true and believe me, I wish it weren’t. I do wish that this were all a big joke and that after listening to this lifeless album for the 100th time Amy Millan would pop out of my closet yelling “Psyche!†and waving the real album in front on me.
Amy Millan is at Richard's on September 20th. September's shaping up to be quite the month. Known for her work with the bands Stars and Broken Social Scene , Amy Millan is finally stepping out on her own with her long-awaited solo album entitled Honey From The Tombs. As expected, the album will come out of the Arts & Crafts label, created by Broken Social Scene's Kevin Drew, and will provide listeners with twelve tracks, including Millan's first single, "Skinny Boy."
