As soon as Life is Good dropped this summer, ‘Cherry Wine’ titillated my ears and made my mind wander, quickly becoming one of my favorite tracks off the LP. Nas outlines what he looks for in a woman, with the vocals of the late Amy Winehouse effortlessly providing the hook. Both artists settle into the track perfectly, working with producer Salaam Remi for this introspective piece. Given my initial thoughts on the song, I had extremely, and potentially unrealistic, high expectations for the video.

Sadly the AMY WINEHOUSE is long gone but her record label's desire to milk her legacy has not.
