It is definitely one of my favorite tracks featured on the new song daily during 2008 and I'm happy to report news of a new An Horse album and also share another track with you. The awkwardly named Australian indie duo An Horse have announced details of their new album Rearrange Beds . The album is available now on iTunes, with the physical release set for a March 17th street date. An Horse - "Company" An Horse is an Australian two-piece consisting of Kate Cooper (guitar/vocals) and Damon Cox (drums/back up vocals), kind of a reverse White Stripes. An Horse was born when Kate and Damon worked in a Brisbane record store, which the two of them used as practice space after hours. An Horse are from Brisbane, Australia, and have been riding high on my scrobbler charts for quite some time now (yes, even surpassing The National and Frightened Rabbit ). Firstly, yes the band's name is in fact An Horse , and I am well aware of the frustrations behind the name and when you try to pronounce it out loud, believe me. But that aside this Brisbane duo have been creating quite a stir at the moment, from what I've witnessed anyway.
