As we stated before when discussing Yelawolf's beat-jacking freestyle twist of it a minute or so back, Young Jeezy 's "I Do" ended up kind of being a disappointment, mostly stemming from the hard-to-ignore dip in quality between Andre 30002s delightfully kooky long-pre-leaked verse and the so-so contributions from Jeezy and Jay-Z (their dope rap metaphors seemed pulled from an entirely different song); but the idea behind the song (A-listers teaming up atop a Southern hip hop-twerked soul sample as a sibling of sorts to "International Players Anthem" and shout-out to the great vintage R&B-soaked [...]

As if Young Jeezy hadn't already recruited enough of rap's biggest stars to drop verses – vows? – of their own on his remix of Hustlerz Ambition banger "I Do," he's recruited Drake to throw down too, just in time for Valentine's Day. Canada's favorite son joins Andre 3000 , Jay-Z , and Jeezy himself over six-plus minutes of film-soundtrack canned strings and "Int'l Players Anthem"-style choir vocals. The end product's lengthy without seeming too long, with an irresistibly massive lighters-up chorus and solid contributions from all around the table. [...]

I hate to say it, but this track definitely was a disappointment to me. Andre 3000 kills his part, but other than that it wasn't the fire it should have been. It might have to do with the awful hook. Either way, they've released an alternate version that includes a verse from Drake . Normally when I get home from a road game at 3:15 in the morning, I go to sleep....but this was way too good to pass up. Earlier today Murdoc the front animation-man announced who the guest collaborators were for the new Gorillaz track via Soundcloud . The two lucky artists are Andre 3000( Outkast ) and James Murphy( LCD Soundsystem ).
