Andrew Belle's debut LP The Ladder was released back in 2010, and since that time each track has been featured somehow or somewhere in film or television. From "In My Veins" to "Static Waves" to "Open Your Eyes", the album was extremely well received. The downside to that is the challenge of following that up. On Feb. 28th Belle is releasing his follow-up EP, The Daylight . It is a three song ep and below you can see how excited Belle is about this release. MP3: Andrew Belle "The Daylight" [...]
It's that time of year again! After my endeavor last year to scrounge up enough holiday music that I could stomach for an entire season I found that I actually do harbor a fair amount of love for the genre. Who knew that this musical Scrooge had a softer side? I sure didn't... Now that [...]

Originally from Wheaton, Illinois, the still unsigned Andrew Belle bares no scars of the big labels, and his last album ' The Ladder ' delivered his delicate vocals track after track. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas may never appear side by side to Mariah Careys overplayed and over produced Christmas tracks, yet if i wanted to woo the girl of my dreams, Andrew would beat Mariah every time! We've covered Andrew's tracks in previous posts , so check them out. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

Filed under: Video of the Day Artist: Andrew Belle Video: 'The Ladder' Highlight: "We wanted to make something a little left of center, something whimsical and quirky to match the vibe of the track," Andrew Belle tells Spinner. "I am so happy with how we were able to perfectly capture the imagery that was imagined when the process started and bring to life the fun that has always been a part of this song."

Note to all my pandora-fiends out there... if you like mellow acoustic country-ish artists then create a station based on the artist Andrew Belle, you wont regret it. You can even tweet/message/email me and I can share my now perfected "medicinal music" station with you. As all of you clever dolls can probably tell this [...]

This Friday's mix is stripped down and strung together by some of the latest acoustic tracks out there from artists from all over. Your Vegas ' "It Makes My Heart Break" and some of their other unreleased music has us teeming for an upcoming album, while Nanna Øland Fabricius from Oh Land hypnotizes us once more with her edgy, yet soft, vocals. Metric 's Emily Haines scores big points with the glam-free "Gimme Sympathy", which really shows how acute her voice is even when synthesized beats cover her path. About a [...]
Indie artist Andrew Belle currently straddles Chicago and Nashville, two of the best indie music/food cities in the country, and his down home, rustic, wry style reflects the comfortable literary wit evoked by his surroundings. Belle's work is selling like hotcakes on iTunes, and cheesy/tweeny TV shows are picking him up ( One Tree Hill , The Vampire Diaries , Keeping Up With the Kardashians ), but food is an equal passion. Belle enthusiastically embraces the zeitgeist-y space that exists between the overlapping worlds. And he somehow finds the time to update his [...]
I am currently watching the NCAA tournament, and like many people, my bracket has been long busted. I had Louisville going to the championship game in one bracket! Being from MN I of course root for the Gophers, but when they aren't playing I cheer for the North Carolina Tarheels, so I'm happy they survived the weekend. This has been one of the most exciting opening weekends to March Madness that I can remember, there have been so many buzzer beaters and down to the wire games. Hopefully next week will be just as exciting. Tomorrow I'll be heading to [...]

Noise Trade , it is a service for artists to put out their music for their fans. In return for an email address and helps promote their music with a tweet or a facebook message prompt. You also have the option of leaving a "tip" for the artist as well. It is a little more forceful than bandcamp but doesn't quite have the large array (mostly singer/songwriters) of artists on it. However, I think this service is one that should be highlighted so I'd like to point you towards some albums that are for "free" this month but [...]
Yesterday the Internets was all abuzz about Andrew Belle, a singer songwriter based out of San Diego. And for good reason. Now he's $8 a pop richer.

I'd say it's been a pretty good year in my musical world... and a pretty good year other wise too! I'm about as blessed as a girl can be and the end of the year always makes me incredibly aware of it! But enough of the mushy stuff... let's get down to the nitty gritty! [...]
