Andy Hull played a show Thursday last week in Atlanta with Colour Revolt . I've been refreshing youtube ever since hoping for some footage. This clip just turned up of a new Right Away, Great Captain song. Not sure what the title is but hopefully it'll be on the new LP! If you know of any other footage from the event, send it my way.

Pretty cool stuff here people. In addition to new material planned from Right Away, Great Captain and Bad Books the tirelessly working Manchester Orchestra frontman Andy Hull is currently in studio recording a split with Colour Revolt frontman Jesse Coppenbarger. The two dropped this clip of studio footage today, and even if the quality isn't all that great you can still tell how heavenly this combination is going to be. Check out the video here

Quer participar? É só entrar no [...]
Manchester Orchestra Frontman Andy Hull takes on TV on the Radio's 'Will Do' and The Strokes' 'What ever Happened.'

The Manchester Orchestra frontman dishes out an acoustic cover of The Strokes' "What Ever Happened?".

I already knew from interviews and previous covers that Andy Hull has pretty great taste in music. What I didn't know is that he's been posting covers of some of my favorite bands on YouTube thru the Manchester Orchestra podcasts. Check out Andy's solo, acoustic cover of The Strokes album opener "What Ever Happened?" , as well as his take on "Will Do" by TV On The Radio . You know that I'm a sucker / for anything acoustic.
One of my absolute favorite songwriters covers one of my all time favorite bands. How has this universe not exploded in result from this wonderful cover of The Strokes classic "What Ever Happened?" . Thank you Andy Hull. Bow down. MP3 // WHAT EVER HAPPENED? (Andy Hull Cover)
Enquanto o Rock 'n' Beats juntou nomes da cena brasileira para reinventar as faixas do aniversariante do ano, o álbum de estreia do The Strokes , Is This It?
It seems Manchester Orchestra 's frontman Andy Hull can take pretty much any song and dress it up as his own. His attempt at TV On The Radio 's "Will Do" on the band's bus before a show in Ohio is proof of it. He brands the song's delicate use of digital and electric sounds, including keys, guitars and synths, with his famous aged/raspy style vocals and minimal use of acoustic guitar strings. This is off of their #3.09 YouTube channel episode series. You can check out more Manchester Orchestra behind [...]
Andy Hull has made mention before of his fondness for TV On The Radio and their most recent effort Nine Types Of Light . Earlier this month he did a performance of "Will Do" off that which was conveniently captured here for your enjoyment. Proceed MP3 // WILL DO

An awesome month deserves an equally awesome mix with some awesome artwork provided by an awesome man... Shouts to Mr. Hull himself for providing it. I don't think this really needs any more of an intro so jump in. Summer has come and gone and with that we enter into my absolute favorite time of the year. As the leaves change and the cool crisp air starts to dominate the day it's time to reflect on the momentous summer I had and ready for hoodie and coffee season. Hopefully this mix will help you with the transition. As always, you can grab the whole thing in a convenient .zip file or pick and choose at whatever you'd like individually. It hardly surprises me that South Carolina's All Get Out has found a home with Atlanta-based Favorite Gentlemen Recordings . The band appears to be a strong disciple of the same Southern pop rock that the label's powerhouse, Manchester Orchestra, has been championing since their breakout debut, I'm Like A Virgin Losing A Child . Frontman Nathan Hussey's voice is undeniably reminiscent of Andy Hull's too. But you can tell after listening to their latest single, "Lucky Bastard," that there's something a bit different about All Get Out. Perhaps it's the peppy [...]

Andy Hull of Manchester Orchestra just uploaded a new recording of Belle & Sebatian's song, Piazza New York Catcher, one of two songs they contributed on the movie soundtrack to Juno on his new tumblr. Stream the song below and do check out his tumblr when you get a chance its quite the goldmine of b-sides and other gems.
Manchester Orchestra frontman Andy Hull covers Shenandoah's 'Ghost In This House.'

Andy Hull of Manchester Orchestra has started a tumblr where he'll be posting new tunes and updates. He just shared a couple of new songs, one from his solo project, 'Right Away, Great Captain entitled "Blame" ( free mp3 ) and the other, a cover song by Alison Krauss , called "Ghost In This House" which you can stream below or over at his tumblr if you don't want to take the jump.
Filed under: Concerts and Tours , News , Exclusive , Q + A Collin Erie for AOL Perhaps Andy Hull should have never called 'Simple Math' a concept album. While Manchester Orchestra 's third studio record may be unified by Hull's thematic struggle to make sense of his life, his career and his marriage, it's not as much a traditional concept piece as a 10-song dialog between the [...]
