There is the dubbed-out wobble of Metal Box-era PiL but taken to East Germany and dyed sheet metal grey. "Love Buzz" is a Shocking Blue song that was famously covered by Kurt Cobain , and now absolved of any color by Anika. Anika is set to release a self-titled covers EP on April 16th via Stones Throw, but ahead of its release she's unveiled her take on Shocking Blue's 'Love Buzz'. The original is dark enough to occupy space within Anika's audio landscape (that opening guitar line still sounds great, doesn't it?) - but contains enough room for Annika Henderson to really drown it in bassy reverb.
