Your stereo is perverted Of course, it is. Otherwise, you wouldn't be listening to this twisted little nightmare. Aphex Twin can be hit or miss, but when he hits, he hits hard. Or very soft, which often makes the impact deeper. But here, he goes for more fleshy grotesquerie. Those seizure-inducing beats and warm synths are still in effect, but it's the vocal samples that top the marquee. I'm guessing it's altered porn moans (severely disfigured), but even if it's not, that's the effect.
