I did a show with DJ Soko a couple months ago and he told me about a project he was working on with Mello Music Group, gathering emcees and producers for their series of 7 inches. Today we get the product, as he matches Guilty Simpson up with Hassaan Mackey over dope production by Apollo Brown. Listen below.

"Open up your wallets, put some dollars down." Older heads will know Wordsworth from his days as part of The Lyricist Lounge and the group Punch and Words. His 2004 solo LP, Mirror Music , was a slept on classic and one of my favorite Hip Hop albums ever. On June 12th he will release his sophomore LP, The Photo Album . The first single is "Joy & Pain", which is produced by another RH favorite, Apollo Brown. This record is dope, and I'm looking forward to more from the LP.
