Folk rock mainstay Neil Young has been hosting benefits for California's Bridge School for children with special needs for 25 years now, always curating an impressive lineup of musicians from indie rock up-and-comers to jam-band paragons. This year, Arcade Fire brought their talents to the festival, and were joined by Young himself to perform a big-band rendition of Young's 1969 song "Helpless." Neil Young's annual benefit for the Bridge Schoo l in Mountain View California is taking place this weekend. The benefit assists children with severe physical impairments and complex communication needs. One of the thrusts of the program is the use of advanced augmentative and alternative communication systems and assistive technology.
