The initial line-up for this year's Glastonbury Festival (28-30th June) has been announced, and it seems all the rumours are true as Acrtic Monkeys, The Rolling Stones and Mumford & Sons will headline this year's event. With Queens of the Stone Age announcing a new album over the weekend, more and more details keep emerging regarding the array of guest spots taking place on the record. We already know that Elton John, Trent Reznor and Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears will feature on the release, and now it's been revealed that Arctic Monkeys ' frontman Alex Turner will too. Alex Turner of The Arctic Monkeys is set to guest-star on the new Queens Of The Stone Age album titled "...Like Clockwork". A new press release circulated by the band's label confirms the list of guest stars appearing on the album with Turner lining up alongside the previously known guests such as Dave Grohl and Sir Elton John.

Chicago youngin's Oscar and Harvey Baker and drummer Tom Fry have been getting a little flare of love from their hometown, but have yet to make it much further out. Listening to the trio's EP title track "Open Arms," the influences are obvious; modern alt Brit-pop in the ilk of Arctic Monkeys and the Kooks . Arctic Monkeys have confirmed they're planning to release their fifth studio album this year. Matt Helders said (drummer) said to BBC Newsbeat that, "Hopefully we'll get it out this year - that's the plan."
