With their current tour backed by Arctic Monkeys nearing its end and a European tour taking up the majority of the summer, The Black Keys have announced even more tour dates in support of last year's El Camino . Starting on October 1st and going till October 10th, the Ohio duo will hit seven cities throughout the West Coast and Southwest of the U.S. and will be backed up by Tegan & Sara. I love both of these bands, but in an arena-no thanks. Don't get my wrong, the show was very good it just wasn't my cup of tea. The Arctic Monkeys didn't play "Fake Tales of San Francisco" which I thought was a too cool for school move. The Black Keys sound better in a bar, smaller setting where their music builds on the ambiance. It is hard for me to write something because it's never worth it to be critical. I love Arctic Monkeys, but it was only towards the end of their set did they "bring it."

I am a little late on getting to this new song 'Electricity' from Arctic Monkeys. The song comes from the Record Store Day release of 'R U Mine?' and is included as the B-Side, to the single. I was lucky enough to land a copy of the rare purple 7" at my local record shop. Both songs have a nice raw sound to them and continues to evolve the Monkeys already high arsenal of rock tunes.
