Arkells Join Virgin Mobile’s RE*Generation Movement by Tiana Feng Last week, Canadian rockers Arkells played a sold-out benefit concert at the Phoenix Concert Theater. While I was unable to attend the concert, I got a sneak-peak at the initiative they were supporting the day before at Eva's Phoenix Youth Center in Toronto. Lights and Arkells at Great American Music Hall The opening band for Lights , the Arkells , did more than play their part perfectly, teasing the young crowd in preparation for the main show. Exceptionally a great band to see live and didn't disappoint. No wonder they won "Group of the Year" at this year's Juno Awards.
