After building some significant hype, Arrested Development' s buzz has died down a bit since the show's fourth season was released as a Netflix exclusive a few weeks ago. But have no fear, Bluthfighter is here! Computer animator and AD fan Brian Anderson (the man behind Lego: Breaking Bad ) has given us a visual of what an Arrested Development fighting video game might look like. And it's awesome. The game, which pits various members of the Bluth family against each other in a Mortal Kombat-style fighting match, is fictitious, [...]

Photo by G. Jeffrey Tambor and Geoffrey Dicker Jeffrey/Geoffrey power! I've met actor Jeffrey Tambor many times over the years and he's a really cool guy. Every time I see him, he seems to have recently appeared in something I really like ("Larry Sanders Show," and this time "Arrested Development"). In addition to being in great programs, he has the best name on the planet (even though he spells it differently). Love him! Thanks Jeffrey! [...]
I finally wrapped up watching the new season of Arrested Development. I didn't expect much based on my own natural cynicism and the reviews seemed to affirm my suspicions. After watching the first two or three episodes I wasn't very impressed but I wasn't quite let down yet either. Once the stories started coming together and the bigger picture became more apparent I was hooked. Each episode was

This week’s videos feature acts that you should check out at Bonnaroo … Sure you can spend your entire weekend in Manchester seeing music from a buffet of genres, but then you’d be neglecting all the high quality talent that will be appearing at the fully air-conditioned comedy theater. Since 2005, fest organizers have brought a veritable who’s who of the best comedians around to perform, and this year is no different. While we highly recommend taking the time to check out some comedy, if you’ve only got time on your busy ‘roo schedule to [...]

"Tennessee" - Arrested Development (1992) "i set myself on a quest for truth..."

We marvel at this because, at age 23, I'm pretty sure I was still sucking my thumb: Lucy Schwartz's third full-length album, "Timekeeper," will be out Aug. 6, the latest chapter in an artistic growth spurt that started when she was at Palisades Charter High (her debut came out in ’07) and then wrote songs for the movie "The Women." Since then (besides her catalog), she's written the theme song for "Parenthood" and other material for film and TV, including "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn," "Shrek Ever After," "What Maisie Knew" and a slew more. Most [...]

Arrested is Back and we're as happy as Tobias in a Roman Centurion Costume. Oh Arrested Development isn't quite as tight, the pacing is a bit off, there's too much dialogue and comedic bits run a bit too long, but it sure is great to see our Bluths back on TV.
As I write this, I am eagerly awaiting Netflix to flip that switch that will give me hours of more Arrested Development. Now mind you, I am completely aware that Arrested Development is not metal. For reals though, it can't be all metal all the time can it? I just got so excited that I blue myself ... In honor of Arrested Development's return on Netflix tomorrow (huzzah!), I'm reposting my top 10 episodes list. From the Banana Stand to Hot Cops to Never-Nudes to the Chicken Dance (and that's not even mentioning The Cornballer, Pop-pop, or Franklin), Arrested Development has provided the some of the funniest moments in television history. Here's my 10 favorite episodes from the best sitcom of all time (plus the best quotes from each episode). Come on! 10. Afternoon Delight [...]

We're now less than a week away from being able to marathon watch the 4th season of Arrested Development, and like the rest of you, we can hardly contain ourselves. The wife and I have been watching through the first 3 seasons for the upteempth time in preparation for AD's glorious return. So if you're like me and have Arrested Development on the brain and can't seem to get it out, here are a couple great web-sites to help fill the time and enhance your watching experience as you have the original seasons on repeat for the rest of the [...]

As every person with a pulse and an internet connection is painfully aware, "Arrested Development" returns this weekend for their fourth season. In preparation, a guerilla-style advertising campaign has given fans the opportunity to experience some of Mitch Hurwitz's "Newport" staples in real life—over the weekend the infamous Bluth "stair car" made stops at The Grove in West Hollywood and Los Angeles' tourism epicenter, Hollywood and Highland. The week before, the Bluth Banana Stand popped up in Columbus Circle and Times Square, temporarily manned by Ron Howard, Jason Bateman, and Will Arnett. Last night it was announced, via [...]
You can count on one hand the number of NFL players who successfully traded touchdowns for Tinsel Town—OJ Simpson comes to mind, as does Carl Weathers and Jim Brown. In the last decade Terry Crews, ... read more

Tobias Fünke, as played by David Cross in cult hit "Arrested Development," is a wannabe actor. Luckily for us, there's a brand new season on the way (HAVE YOU GUYS HEARD ABOUT IT? ITS NOT LIKE THERE HASN'T BEEN A TON OF PROMOTION FOR IT OR ANYTHING) thanks to the good people at Netflix. Well, they've unearthed Tobias's acting reel. He wants you to insert him anywhere! Really! There's even a new website dedicated entirely to inserting him anywhere you see fit... InsertMeAnywhere.biz ! The site's one and only [...]

On Wednesday, May 8, Bluth's Original Frozen Banana Stand from the television program Arrested Development began to make appearances in different parts of London. Fans lined up to receive free frozen chocolate bananas. The stand has crossed the pond and will appear in different cities in the US in advance of " Arrested Development" Season 42s Netflix premiere on May 26. Currently the stand is in New York City with plans to travel West. The Bluth's Original Frozen Banana Stand tour will also include special surprise appearances by members of the [...]
Arrested Development will be making it’s triumphant return on May 26th, 2013. The Bluth family will star in 15 brand-new character-driven episodes available exclusively on Netflix, the first new episodes since the show was cancelled back in 2006. To hype up the countdown to the new episodes, a bunch of new AD character/prop posters were released last month. Now, with just a few weeks until the debut, we have a trailer giving us our first look at those new episodes. Giddy up.
Well, I'll be. Looks pretty darn good for longtime fans of the show. Lots of funny callbacks and slightly insidery jokes. Seeing this it makes me think there's no need for a feature film. Just give us a new season of AD every few years and we can call it good. [via complexmag ]

Two short weeks. That's the time separating new episodes of Arrested Development from its rabid fanbase. And, for those (like myself) who find that May 26 Netflix release date to seem like a lifetime-and-a-half away, this trailer should bring plenty of smiles. Any explanations for the antics? None yet. Why does Buster have a hook for an arm? Is college really ready for George Michael? What kind of magic does Gob have up his sleeve? Feel free to speculate below, but know that whatever off-the-cuff explanations we invent probably won't be as great [...]
There's a new outtake involving Buster and Lucille over at EW for your viewing pleasure. It nearly split my sides open. Sadly, the clip isn't embeddable, so you'll just have to hop over there to watch it. I can't wait for these episodes to come out and after watching Buster suck smoke from Lucille's mouth like a baby bird, I'm not longer the least bit worried that the new season won't be funny.
