Such a simple question. Arthur Russell, a somewhat mysterious character, released this track under two different aliases, or at least I'm only aware of those two. Jens Lekman and Tracey Thorn recently teamed up for the 20th-anniversary Merge Records covers compilation "Score!" . As I'm a big fan of both, I was psyched when Tracey first announced this on her blog. It literally just came out of nowhere. And I can confirm that it's indeed excellent. There's a very sweet moment where his parents describe initially not liking his music because 'You couldn't tap your foot to it'.
