Das neue Album der Athleten ist raus, und es ist wirkliche würdiger Nachfolger des Vorgängers "Tourist" geworden. Das das folgende Album nach einem hochgehypten Ersten meist der Knackpunkt ist, haben wir ja gerade bei Hard FI erlebt. Total entäuschend, auch wenn man die überhöhte Euphorie der Marketingstrategen vorher abzieht. Athlete machen es besser. Deutlich weniger theatralisch, etwas gitarrenlastiger, homogener als das Debüt ist ausgefallen und strahlt Spaß an sich selbst und der Musik aus. I used to like Athlete quite a lot. They've got a couple of great singles, 'Wires' and 'Half Light', and other decent tracks. However, I was very disappointed upon first listen of their new single 'Hurricane'. It was unimpressive, dull, and lacks a real chorus.
