This week marked a week of "ends" in my life. I'm officially cutting off buying records for the next month (dropped $300 on one record is...like...I don't even want to talk about how dumb I feel right now). I'm done free-spending in general (I just bought an expensive camera, too). LOST is over for the next eight or nine months. I ended my boycott of the beach, put on a bathing suit and spent a day at the shore. I don't know, some other shit ended too. That's why today's mix tape is called "The End." [...]
Did you all remember to deprive yourselves of one hour of sleep this morning? I sure did! I had to be at work early and the entire day just kind of crept by like the slowest, most excruciating event since...uh...that presentation I had to give for English class my senior year of high school. Radiohead released a new album last week. I know this because everybody in the world has been masturbating over it ever since. Apparently it's a big deal that a band decided to offer an album on their website with the option to download it for free. I guess if I recorded something this bad I might feel compelled to give it away for free online too. At it's best, In Rainbows is "meh" glitch-pop from a band that sounds bored with itself.
