As Pitchfork points out , the singer-songwriter has written a score for director Matt Wolf's forthcoming documentary, Teenage . According to Pitchfork , (via The Hollywood Reporter ) the singer will star in his first film, the upcoming "Dallas Buyer's Club." The movie follows the true story of AIDS activist Ron Woodroof (played by Matthew McConaughey) who sought alternative treatment in the mid-1980s for his terminal illness.

When people talk about Divine Fits, they generally don't complain that the band lacks for A-list indie-frontman star power - for most bands, Britt Daniel and Dan Boeckner would be able to hold it down in that regard.
