This Saturday we revisit this absolutely fabulous edit of The Beatles' "Tomorrow Never Knows" by London producer Jonathan Moore, aka Leftside Wobble . Last spring Larry Tiger took some time off from Tiger & Woods to play alone and to release a four-track EP "Alone On The Green" on Editainment. Our favorite pick from this excellent release was his superb edit of Clyde Brown's 1972 classic song "Your Wish Is My Command", entitled "Eagle". This Saturday's edit is a lifetime favorite. When it was first released two years ago on Marcos Cabral and Jacques Renault's label On The Prowl it became an instant classic. This epic twelve minute edit of New Edition's 1986 song "Once In A Lifetime Groove" by Marcos Cabral and Shux still sounds like the perfect soundtrack for the upcoming warm days of summer. It's hard to write about a new lady singer without slipping into lazy Madonna/Kylie/Gaga comparisons. Just as well then that Ronika has an identity of her own, and a name equally as obtuse. Of course, those in blog land will probably not think of Ronika as a new artist at all. Her name has become synonymous with pop excellence for quite some time now.
