The tripped-out animated video for "Oliver Twist," a song from Avey Tare's solo album Down There , has bloodthirsty mutating crocodile ghosts and glowy-eyed ravens in it. It's also a bit like Hitchcock's Psycho in that the main character gets murked early. Cripes, I thought we'd all forgotten about Avey Tare's album? I mean, Panda brought out his album and Animal Collective are touring so it's quite easy to overlook it, even though it came out less than a year ago (only slightly). One person who certainly hasn't forgotten is Jack Kubizne, the director of this video for album highlight "Oliver Twist."
