Paul Weller ended his gig at the 9:30 Club tonight with a lively cover of "All You Need Is Love" . It was the perfect ending to a damn-near perfect gig, so good it gave me goosebumps. Climbed A Mountain Spent the weekend in the Adirondacks. Climbed New York's fifth-highest mountain. The view from the top of Whiteface Mountain : Lori says the pic looks photoshopped, but we were there... in the clouds. Yeah, that's not mist or anything. We were standing in cloud, looking down on cloud. It was pretty cool. And it was mostly a drive to the top, then a 20-minute hike to the summit.
