Azealia Banks se décide enfin à nous délivrer un clip pour son dernier morceau Yung Rapunxel et l'attente était mérité. Une vidéo très bien réalisé qui nous plonge dans un univers étrange et horrifique qui nous surprend venant de la rappeuse américaine, que l'on retrouve tantôt en train de casser des bouteilles sur la police, tantôt avec des bouches à la place des yeux et des hiboux autour d'elle.

La jeune diablesse lâche enfin le clip qu'elle avait teasé à l'aide de son hashtag et de ses visuels sans logique et assez tordus. C'est Jam Sutton qui s'est occupé de cette réalisation loufoque qui ne nous étonne même pas de la part d' Azealia . « Yung Rapunxel « , production de Lil Internet, est le genre de titre lourd qui figurera à coup sur sur son premier album. The build up hype for this video was mad real and it doesn't disappoint. It's on some trippy Die Antwoordesque aesthetic but its an intriguing direction for the Harlem rapper. This track is gonna drop on her new album, Broke With Expensive Taste.

"Yung Rapunxel" sounds like Hardcore Techno and Rap music, the problem with Azealia Banks ' new single is that both genres doesn't seem to come together in my opinion. Anyway, the accompanying music video sees Banks flanked by flying owls, while her eyes turn into extra mouths to rap the lyrics. Other scenes see her riding a bucking bronco, standing in front of a swirling eye and tackling riot police, just like what's happening now in Venezuela, holy shit! www.electrowow.net

Azealia Banks has gone a little crazy with both her musical style and video through her latest single release titled 'Yung Rapunxel'. A bass driven number that is designed to smash you in the face almost literally.
