Tuesday night promised to be a four-band bill at the Wonderbox , but when the DIY venue fell through, two bands dropped out. The show was moved last minute to an artist warehouse space off of North Capitol in Bloomingdale, under the guidelines that the two remaining bands ran the show at a respectful volume and mindful hours. The touring band, Cloud Becomes Your Hand , couldn't of been any happier to play early. "One in the morning is a normal time slot to go on when we're on tour," a member of the band expressed. "It's nice [...]

Recap: AON Presents Volume 3
Back in early April, All Our Noise kicked off the spring season with a freshly rebranded and redesigned site, and we invited all of our friends to come out and celebrate the event. Montserrat House was gracious enough to host our Volume 3 party on April 21, and a few of our favorite bands provided the entertainment. The Plums, Buildings and Sun Wolf all played excellent sets, and an extra special thanks to everyone who came out and made this an amazing evening. Check out the above video for a quick recap of the night's [...]

Sun Wolf Howls at Monsterrat House
Frontman Rob Tifford throws his weight behind this garagey lo-fi indie rock outfit, where he assumes vocal and guitar duties. Backed by Tom and Danny on bass and drums, respectively, Sun Wolf cranks up the energy during their live sets. Currently working on a full-length, we caught them not long ago at the Montserrat House thrashing about. When not DJing or spreading good vibes throughout the city, Tifford could previously be seen pulling strings on stage for DC semi-supergroup Midnight Kids (who we still miss) alongside members of the Apes , [...]
