One of Tiesto's staples, this cut always revives a crowd no matter what venue or what part of the set those famous words, "Forever young, I want to be forever young, do you really want to live forever? Forever, forever..." are played. Well Robbie has his own take on the track, providing us with a thumping, pounding drop to set any dance floor on fire. And the snares...oh lord. Cheers. Forever Young (Original Mix) - Robbie Rivera Bonus: Two cuts, double the fun. Avicii does make pretty damn good booties, [...]

Great track for summer. Groovin' synths that will take you or any party into the night. Vocals are smooth as butta. Cheers. -lev Follow (Original Vocal Mix) - Nathan C. Feat. Kash Bonus: Incredible bootie, brings back one of the most famed electronic songs of our age... Feel 400 (Pixel Cheese Reboot) - Third Party vs. Zombie Nation

Keane is a band out of Ireland who've opened for the likes of U2. They are legit, and if you don't know their name by now, get with it. Now, one thing I love about Keane is that they don't have a guitarist. Makes their sounds dreamy, but some how they still maintain to garner a rock crowd. Now take Alesso, EDM genius, and you just may have yourself for a stellar house bomb. Melodic, upbeat, and anthemic. Cheers. -lev Silenced By The Night (Alesso Remix) - Keane [...]

Polish producer Cherry Coke has made some leeway with his newest installments that has caught the attention of mine, and many others' ears.Often do you see new producers taking the melodic/progressive route, but rarely do you see them succeed. But wait, Cherry Coke did. Take a special listen to "More Coke" as CC employs not only progressive, but electro, and even some dubstep! It's incredible how he does it, and its even more incredible how well it blends (talk about innovative). Check it. Cheers. -lev More Coke (Original Mix) - Cherry Coke [...]

The tandem of Starkillers avec Dmitry KO is one you don't take lightly. Every release of theirs is characterizes by a big, offbeat type drop (possibly syncopated? correct me if my assessment of musical theory is wrong...) that emphasizes the shit out of the bass. Think of the haunted house sounding track "Do U Love" that has that reverberating "Ommmm" sound. Recently, they released one remix and one original that follows in the same vein, and I think it's incredibly innovative. Wish I could hear their tracks "live" at some point. Cheers. -lev Keep [...]

This is a more dated Gigamesh track, as compared to his newest remix featuring Dave 1 from Chromeo, but it is definitely my most coveted burn of his works. Everything about it screams jazz, straight up. From Senor Stereo's buttery voice, to the delicate piano in the background, back to the vibin' sax in the foreground, and even the faint tap of the triangle, this cut is silky smooth. Cheers. -lev Hot Damn! (Gigamesh Remix) - Senor Stereo Bonus: Classic Michael Woods. All I have to [...]

Since 2003, David Puentez has been bringing us heat. Favorited for his uber-original bootleg packages, recent bombs such as "Melodrama" and "Things We Do 4 Love", Puentez is riding the meteoric wave he created. This next track is just another notch on the belt of Puentez, however, I think it may just be one of the biggest tracks of 2012. One of the hardest drops I've heard in some time that isn't dubstep inspired. Any DJ who throws this in their set is bound for success as the rising electro build perfectly coalesces into firestorm of bass. Your pants are [...]

Angel Stoxx is a lesser known name to the mainstream, but they guy has been around for some time now, piling up successful release after successful release. First a member of Phatjak with Evan Kay, and now a solo producer releasing dance floor bombs under the Hotfingers and 4kenzo labels, Angel Stoxx's productions are usually on the techier side of things, but this release (well actually the remix below) bends toward the progressive side of the spectrum. I absolutely love the whispery vocal in this track. Cheers. -lev Something To Remember (Lexvaz & JJ [...]

Was speaking at length with a friend of mine about some standing genres that have yet to succumb to the mainstream - well for the most part, I'd say tech is still that of the underground. Dark, groovy, enticing, and visceral, tech is for those who bop deep into the late night, don't fear the offbeat club, and prefer a more modest form of raging. For starters, I first witnessed the fact tech was somewhat of an unconventional EDM genre at Sensation 2011 in Hasselt, Belgium. After Chuckie, Solveig, Laidback, and a few other big names energized the predominantly abroad student [...]

Believe it or not, I think Cazzette has actually managed to strike equilibrium with traditional (I use that term loosely) house music and dubstep. Personally, I think dubstep is the lovechild of rebellious 90s punk and electro. I'm not a fan of dub, and I never will be, but that does not mean its "bad" music or "distasteful". It just harbors itself in a different place within EDM. However, Cazzette believes their track "Beam Me Up" may just be the answer, the bridge, and just right amount of each ingredient ( not a mouthful of wobble) to close the [...]
I give you two duos (Swedes/Italians) that have made plenty of noise this 2012. Both tracks are savvy and enticing in their own right, and I have a damn good feeling you're going to get plenty of satisfaction. Happy Sunday. Cheers. -lev You Should Know (Qulinez Remix) - Jack Beats feat. Donae'O Drag Me Down (Nari & Milani Remix) - The Only Bonus: A medley of promising bootlegs from an up-and-comer known as DJ Gazzo (feeeeel the Dutch)...
![[House] David Guetta & Nicky Romero – Metropolis](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4208948_lg.jpg)
Superstar house producers David Guetta and Nicky Romero have teamed up for a brand new single out on Jack Back Records. The melodic styles of both artists blend nicely together on the breakdown and the driving wobbly bass synth lines keep the track moving fast. Even though the track uses just one vocal sample, "Mother-fucking big fat bass" is definitely a good one! You can stream this hot new release below or pick it up on Beatport for your collection. Porter Robinson did the college circuit. And from that point on, PR became a household EDM name, not just opening for headliners, but being a headliner himself. His latest track "Language" has proved to me, and the rest of the community, that he has legitimate talent that exceeds your run of the mill up and comer. This track literally has everything - absolutely awe-inspiring. Fucking props Porter. And let me add the amount of stellar tracks being released lately, evoking new styles and sounds really excites me - niceee. Cheers. -lev Language (Original [...]

At this point, CLMD cannot go unnoticed any longer. I place this duo is at the top of the progressive rankings, and it seems each subsequent track they release proves how good they really are. I've been following them since day 1, and it's been a real pleasure to watch them develop their sound. "Black Eyes and Blue" is emotional, delivering mesmerizing vocals masterfully coupled with uplifting progressives synths. CLMD is here to stay. Cheers. -lev Black Eyes and Blue (Original Mix) - CLMD (Carl Louis & Martin Danielle) [...]

There is so much talent on this track I was worried when I gave it a first listen. Well, I was not surprised one bit. The track is fucking phenomenal on every level. The drop is funky as shit, which I love, it's got bangin' vocals, and is set ready. Cheers to Tiesto and WG. -lev We Own The Night (Original Mix) - Tiesto & Wolfgang Gartner feat. Luciana Bonus: And you thought Tiesto x Wolfgang was a match made in heaven. Not so fast. This one hits [...]

Finding the middle ground between euphoric and hard-hitting is difficult in the EDM game. The Russians Swanky Tunes and HRS have struck gold with this track. Track builds on itself perfectly as it culminates at the 4 minutes mark. Cheers. -lev Apogee (Original Mix) - Hard Rock Sofa & Swanky Tunes Bonus: Fun track featuring Dragonette's infectious voice and the Knocks' high-quality remixing ability... Let It Go (The Knocks Remix) - Dragonette

No jam out right now scream's festival-ready big room status more than Nari and Milani's "Atom". Supported heavily by the gents of SHM in nearly all their sets (Size Records), dating back to MSG on Dec. 16, "Atom" has been garnering support from fellow headliners worldwide. Everything about this cut is large, whether its the pounding drums, rising snares, blaring sirens, or the motorcycle-esque drop, "Atom" is a fucking atombomb (ha). Expect this song to be heavily incorporated into a host of upcoming booties. Cheers. -lev Atom (Original Mix) - Nari & [...]

These two goons probably have some of the catchiest productions out there right now. Definitely not your run of the mill type duo, continually churning out stuff that are not only great on their own, but perfect ingredients for bootlegs. I present to you some new new, albeit remix, from the Bingo Players Cheers. -lev Mad Dash (Bingo Players Edit) - Carl Tricks Bonus: May be incredibly similar to Basto's melodic interpretation, but still Nadia's voice never seems to fail when coupled with the bliss that comes with [...]

Surprised Madeon didn't drop during his Ultra set, but expect this to splash hard once released. The 17-year old French prodigy is showing no signs of slowing down. Could he be taking Louis La Roche's throne? Only time will tell. Cheers. -lev Bonus: Sticking to his tribal/jungle roots, Congorock spits out another cut that will turn any dance-floor into the Amazon... Monolith (Original Mix - Congorock

The boys out of Russia [edit]are red hot. Fucking bomb after bomb, I'm not sure what's in the water supply up there in Rusko, but shit, you're making the Dutch and the Swedes look like children. Check this new new out from Matisse and Sadko - just another (worthy) lyrical and melodic piece of artwork. Also check the bonus of the famed track "Raining" (add some funky ass drop that makes my ears drip). Oh, and fucking shout out to those who were in PV and those who led the charge (Balboa). Doing my best to get back in the [...]
