Another excellent band that came out of my High Sierra experience is Backyard Tire Fire . I have to admit that I wasn't familiar with their work and stumbled across their show one hot afternoon..... only to find some honest, sweat-drenched rock 'n roll. Throw in some pedal steel and some songs about drinking beer and losing loves and you've got me pretty much hooked.
