Alright, so a reflection of my age would be that I experienced very real pangs of nostalgia yesterday evening thanks to the band Thrice , a band who I first heard at my very first Warped Tour, while finding myself at their shows over the years through my work with Invisible Children . Watching them evolve as a band while still in my formative years made them consistently relevant, they emerged from their Warped tour post-hardcore aggression and found their voice, sonically- as experimental rock music, expansive and intricate- but with the weight of Thrice's powerhouse instrumentation.
